Iran Air reserves the right to change the following terms and conditions that apply to all users of this website at any time without prior notice. Please note that other airlines have their own business and travel conditions.



With "IranAir.at", "Iran Air", "we" or "our" is always IranAir.at, refering to Iran’s national airline headquartered in Tehran with its branch in Vienna in cooperation with the General Sales Agent (GSA) Gharaei GmbH, a company that operates under the laws of the Federal Republic of Austria and has its registered address at Opernring 1, 1010 Vienna, Austria.



By accessing, using and browsing our website or other applications (including all mobile applications), you agree to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Use and to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please leave this website, mobile website or mobile application. As a condition of your use of this site, you warrant to Iran Air that you are using this site or its contents, which are unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. This website is intended solely to assist customers in determining the availability of travel-related goods and services, as well as legitimate reservations, and for no other purpose. By using our website, mobile website, mobile applications, our ticket booking system or others, you agree that Iran Air may collect personally identifiable information, such as:


  • Your name, date of birth, phone number, e-mail address, preferred payment method and flight booking details;

  • For online bookings or product and service orders, Iran Air collects billing information, transaction and credit card information;

General Travel Conditions

Travel services are provided on the basis of availability provided by the carriers and suppliers for which Gharaei GmbH  acts as intermediary, directly or through electronic global distribution systems. In rare cases, operators may not be able to update this availability in real time until capacity becomes unavailable at the indicated price. You can cancel reservations before tickets are issued. In this case, Iran Air will try to offer a suitable alternative or refund the payment received. However, Iran Air and its subsidiaries assume no liability for the consequences of canceled or disconfirmed reservations.


Our General Conditions of Carriage are only applicable to those flights or segments which bear the name of Iran Air or the airline code of the same airline in the Carrier / Flight column of the ticket for that flight or segment.

If we issue a ticket for carriage on the services of another airline, we act only as their agent. You may recognise this because our airline code does not appear before the flight number.


Payment Methods 

When purchasing our services, passengers have the opportunity to make a cash payment or card payment (EC-Card, Mastercard/Visa) at the Iran Air Sales Office (Opernring 1, 1010 Vienna). Furthermore, the purchase can be completed through our website by transfer to the bank account of Gharaei GmbH (see imprint) or by credit card (Mastercard/Visa). When making a bank transfer, note that the five-digit booking code/reservation code/PNR must be used as the intended purpose. The copy of the transfer confirmation can then be uploaded via our website or sent by email to ticket@iranair.at.


For online bookings no additional booking fees will be charged.



If you request a non-binding flight reservation with us, this is normally valid for 48 hours. Due to the date, type of ticket, availability of seats, etc., ticket prices may vary, which is why an exact price can not be specified unless a booking request has been made. Booking inquiries can only be made personally in our sales office (Opernring 1, 1010 Vienna) or online via our website www.iranair.at. Any personal data will be used to make the contract legally binding. For more information about your personal data, please see our privacy policy. The responsibility of the correctness of the data for a booking (name, flight data, flight route, telephone number, etc.) lies with the passenger or the person who carries out the booking for him / her. If reductions are made under age-specific rates, the passenger is responsible for the accuracy of the date of birth. If a change is needed and thus the elimination of the discount, the responsibility lies with the passenger.


A rebooking or cancellation can be made up to 24 hours before departure, at our code-share partner Austrian Airlines 48 hours before departure. For this please contact either Iran Air AT via our website www.iranair.at or Austrian Airlines. If a booking is canceled in time, the amount will be refunded in the same form as the payment was made.


In any case, a rebooking / cancellation fee will apply. If the flight is not canceled in time, there will be a no-show fee between EUR 60.00 and EUR 80.00.

Tickets can not be transferred to other persons.


Code Share 

Sometimes we offer our service under the term "Code Share" in cooperation with Austrian Airlines. In this case, even though you have signed a contract of carriage with us and received a ticket with our name or airline code, the promotion will be carried out holistically by the Code Share Partner. This is already apparent at the time of booking. Each Code Share Partner provides its own rules for flights operated by it. You should definitely familiarize yourself with these provisions before you travel.


Exclusion of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Iran Air does not warrant that your use of our website, mobile website and / or mobile application will be uninterrupted or error free. You agree that Iran Air may from time to time remove this website, mobile website or mobile application for an indefinite period or terminate the service at any time without notice to you.
